We need to sacrifice an intern to the printer
This is the first Moonling I painted. Let me explain–no there is too much– let me sum up.
A few years ago, as an undergraduate, I took “Painting II”, instructed by the incredibly talented David Crismon. I grabbed his attention for a minute to show him a sketch in my pad for a painting idea. I believe he listened to what I was talking about, but his attention shifted to a doodle on the corner of the page, one of my Moonlings. He chuckled at it.
So I shared with him a vision of painting Moonlings and he offered some great tips on paint choice, etc. I really had no idea that he would go for it and let me paint these for my classwork. I was thrilled.
